My Wonderful Year at RLabs

2011 was my wonderful year at RLabs. Wow, amazing how every week was a different learning curve. Never a dull or boring moment at class, therefore it was always exciting to come to class on Saturdays. The RLabs staff also makes the classrooms different ‘cos they always love to surprise students. At first we learnt to open e-mail accounts. Thereafter we went onto Facebook and that is a whole new world of learning.. here we learn to Chat, create and engage with others. We went onto Twitter and also learnt to link from Facebook to Twitter. We did HootSuite, Blogger, Maps, Google, Skye, Picasa Videos, WordPress, Flickr and learnt so much more. We also learnt to be careful of Social network gangsterism so that we could safeguard our sites. Sadly This class is coming to an end but I’m definitely much richer for the knowledge and the experience. I’m also more confident in using my laptop. We were taught how to use our cell phones to go on to the Internet.. this is great ‘cos now one doesn’t have to open the PC all the time. Last week we followed Craig Ross on his run from Table Mountain to raise funds.. He did a great. Thanks RLabs for a wonderful job well done from a grateful Mom 2.0.
